Most enterprise software engineers that I know are using it to write the majority of their code, but are still designing that code and approving changes manually.
Leadership thinks AI should make development 10x faster, when most developers only report at 20-50% improvement in feature velocity.
And some people refuse to use AI to write any code, citing how it is not yet trustworthy enough.
I want to answer these questions for myself and you with our own data.
